WHAT IS CELTIC AGE?

The idea behind the Celtic Age cultural group is to help preserve the ancient traditions that have given and continue to give life to the celtic world and to pass them on to others, to benefit from their message of harmony and spiritual knowledge.
We believe the celtic tradition is a heritage that should not be allowed to die, because it contains teachings and answers which can inwardly enrich modern Man. It represents a spiritual and cultural heritage that is highly suited to the inner needs of Man, being expressed in terms of legends, myths and traditions.
Celtic Age is not related to any particular or local historical event, rather to the global cultural phenomenon that has left its impression all over the planet in megalithic form; namely, the Tradition of the Sun, the cradle and the roots of humanity.
The celtic tradition contains values referring to Man's spiritual evolution and his bond of harmony with the Universe.
The celtic world was born around the spiritual teaching of the Druids. But they themselves were the pupils of ancient masters who had built the megalithic world before them. Their spiritual teaching incorporates a continual search for the bond with the spirit of the Earth and all its living creatures.
Although these values may seem to be lost nowadays, they still exist in each of us. This is why Celtic Age is carrying on its research into the ancient traditions that inspired the megaliths and the whole celtic world and is working together with national and international organisations sharing the same aims.
The Celtic Age cultural group will pursue its declared aims by means of:

- lecture evenings
- reporting
- traditional music and dance
- symbols and rituals of ancient traditions.

However, Celtic Age is not just a cultural initiative, it also studies the spiritual soul of ancient traditions, which is inherent in the experience of meditation.
